Of Warcraft and Originality
What do you get when you cross the self proclaimed largest shopping complex in south east asia, and the world's most recognised cyber gaming event. You get, WCG Malaysian Edition! This is prehaps my most awaited event of the year. Sadly, along with my cousin and brother, we bowed out of the competition after our first match. Well, I think I can't blame my lost on anyone, except for my own mistake. Would love to elaborate on Warcraft III but most won't be interested anyway. So after the lost, Jiin Siong asked me if I wanted to watch movie. I told him, sure... and I got stuck to the magnificent view of 2 Starcraft players battling out with each other on 2 giant projection screens. One is a representative from
So when they came out, and we went to this funny cafe located right at the end of the mall. The thing is, this cafe that we went... although I admit it isn't funny, but the concept is just too common nowadays. From Uncle Lim's, to Old Town Kopitiam, to Ipoh Coffee Shop... and today's shop's name which was forgotten by me... all of their drinks taste the same... all of the food they sell are almost the same, which I doubt has any difference in their taste also... I mean, come on, since when has
This... leads me to another topic... also about originality and not acting dumb or stupid. Firstly I would like to credit the person for what I am talking about, despite being a real arsehole, is definately very cunning and deceptive. He is one of our residential area's community members. However, he seems to be disapproving everything that the community's majority wants. When we fenced up the area, which is actually illegal in our country, for God knows what reasons, he got so furious that he cut the fencing... he knocked our road blocks, which was illegal too... and he also even contacted the police when he discovered that some of our security guards, which was illegal too... were working without a security guard's permit. You may wonder, how did he find out about that? Well, as I said, he is a very cunning man. Prehaps his ideas were too original, no one thought he was THAT deceptive. He was extremely friendly towards the guards, and would sit at the "illegal" guard post and talk to them for an hour or more once in a few days. A very common sight. Sure he already gave us troubles before that, but no one would have thought that he would have stood so low as to BETRAY people who have trusted him. In the end, right now we have to settle with new security guard companies which are no where near as good as the ones who got betrayed by him. Then... he decided to cut the fencing, over and over again, and we ment it back. We have no proof, and he was smart. He stopped cutting the fencing for a few days, and through his connections (he is a good friend to some political party blablabla...) he got a national television news company to come to our residential area and showed all the illegal stuffs. He even said how the fencing made it uneasy for the residents to access the soon to be opened new shop lots. Well, prehaps the fencing will be uneasy... but imagine, coming home to your house to find your parking slot in front of your house had some USV (unidentified stationary vehicle) there. Two words, BULL SHIT! Evidently we did this fencing for a reason, and it is so that we won't have to SHARE our parking slot with the people who are going to the shops. He however decided that he doesn't mind. The controversial thing is... He bought a shoplot there. So ya... go figure.
Note: This post have exactly 1000 words as counted by Microsoft words besides this note, so... If someone can find me a picture that can represent all these words, I will delete everything on top, post the pic, and credit you too! Peace out people!
